Chapter Fourteen: Anor

Time inside the Great Messiah did not flow with the outside world, days being weeks to those outside it. For Iron & Korinthine, only a few weeks had passed since the shattering stopped. Yet, in that short time, a completely new civilization had formed, made a culture, & learned sorcery. On the day of his wedding, The Bishop quietly left, piercing a hole through the rhizome of the Great Messiah. Inside The Tree, for the first time, lights dimmed. The beautiful and resplendent glow had faded, leading to rain pouring upon those who didn't follow The Bishop's path. As the Great Messiah wept tears of sap unto those inside himself, The Bishop's bride Newari played her piano of wood somberly. The light had all but faded, leading to the moon showing its unpleasant visage to all those inside the Messiah. For the Bishop, this was heaven. Experiencing all the sights of the outside. He glanced back to the now darkened tree, it's roots beginning the slow withering process. He had nary a thought in his mind. He was more focused on finding everything he could to make name for himself in this new and bizarre world.
