And so it starts… “Hey, Tobi! What’d your mom say about us playing” said a little girl “She said it’s okay but i have to be back before dinner.” Tobi said. The kids walk down to a nearby park to play. 1 hour later The kids are done play so they head back home, the girl heads into her house and Tobi continues walking. “Hey, i’m home, what’s for dinner?” said Tobi walking into the kitchen, once arriving in the kitchen he sees his mom and dad, tied up and covered in blood. “Mom… Dad” Tobi yelled, starting to cry, “Look who’s home.” Said a man walking toward Tobi “Who are you, what’d you do!” Tobi yelled in a shaky voice. “Oh, so it seems you don’t know?” The man said “Know what?” Tobi asked “That you’re a monster.” The man said as more men walk out from the darkness. “Welp let’s get started, this is the last one.” one of the men said. Tobi starts to run outside but, he is caught by one of the men. They throw him onto the ground and one of them draws his sword, “sorry that it had to be this way kid”. “No! please.” Tobi yelled. The little girl walks outside because of the yelling and sees what’s happening, “What’s going on! What are you doing to him.” she yelled as one of the men grabbed her and brought her back inside her home. Meanwhile the man that had threw Tobi to the ground tried to stab him, Tobi’s right eye turns red, and he grabs the blade of the sword. The man, now cutting through his hand says “come on don’t make this harder than it needs to be.” Tobi, trying to push the blade away from him, slices his right eye from the eyebrow to the cheek, cutting his eye and his face. Tobi then passes out from blood loss and shock. He is in the darkness by himself, when he hears a voice “don’t worry kid, it’ll all be over soon. I’ll take it from here, and you can pass on peacefully.” Tobi backs up but trips “Who are you, where am I!” The voice, getting closer says “This is your inner consciousness or, your inner world. This is my home, inside of you.” Tobi, now trembling with fear says “What are you talking about.” A man appears in front of him, “I’m a demon, I am the son of the demon king. I am the strongest of my generation, and you kid, are the unlucky one that got possessed with me. I’ve been here your whole life, ever since birth.” The man looks down at Tobi. “What are you going to do to me…” Tobi shouts “i’m going to take your body and take over this world.” he says firmly “no.. no, I can’t let you do that.” Tobi says quietly “I’m afraid that, it’s not your choice, kid. I’ve already starting healing your body, i’m almost fully prepared to take it. Sorry kid.” The man says. Tobi wakes up to the real world, he is still in the driveway where everything happened, but he isn’t bleeding anymore, and his wounds have reduced to scars. “T- That man.. he was real, he wasn’t some dream. I… really am a monster.” Tobi says starting to stand “I… i’m the reason mom and dad are dead. If i stay here, i’m gonna put more people in danger.” He says thinking of his best friend, the girl next door. “I can’t let more people get hurt because of me.” he says starting to run away. FIN
